Dean Huijsen has confirmed he has a release clause in his AFC Bournemouth contract as he continues to be linked with a summer move away from the Cherries.
But while he has been linked with a move to Liverpool, the Spain international has seemingly dealt a transfer blow to the Reds.
Bournemouth signed the 19-year-old in a deal worth up to £15.3m last summer, and handed the centre-back a six-year contract.
However, after an eye-catching first season in the Premier League, he looks to move on after just one year.

His form has not gone unnoticed, with Hujisen making his international debut for Spain last month after being handed a maiden call-up.
Meanwhile, he continues to be linked with a number of big clubs across Europe, including Liverpool, Real Madrid and Bayern Munich.
And when confirming the existence of a release clause in his Bournemouth contract, believed to be worth £50m, Huijsen hinted that he would be interested in a move to Real Madrid after revealing his friends have been asking the Spaniard to join the La Liga giants.
"I have a contract until 2030, [but] I do have a [release] clause,” he told El Chiringuito TV, as quoted by ESPN.
“I don't know (if I’ll join Real Madrid), we'll see.
“It's a big team.
What am I going to say?"
Meanwhile, Huijsen offered a further hint about a potential move to the Bernabeu as he revealed that Real Madrid legend Sergio Ramos was his boyhood hero and shared his admiration for the Spanish giants manager, Carlo Ancelotti.
"Sergio Ramos has been my idol since I was little," he admitted.
He deserves credit.”
Should Huijsen leave Bournemouth for Real Madrid this summer, he could find himself playing alongside Liverpool vice-captain Trent Alexander-Arnold.
