Liverpool FC could be declared Premier League champions later today.
After a season of dominance, if the Reds avoid defeat against Spurs at Anfield in today's 4.30pm kick off, they will become Premier League Champions for the second time in five years.
While celebrations would be expected to go on long into tonight, attention will also be turning to when the club will be parading the Premier League trophy through the streets of the city for hundreds of thousands of jubilant fans to see.
Of course Reds fans were deprived of such a moment in the disrupted 2020 season, when Covid-19 rules meant that no parade event could be held to mark Liverpool's 19th league title.

Liverpool fans can always be relied on to come out in force for a parade.
When the Reds' won the Champions League in 2019, around 750,000 people flooded the streets, creating a remarkable sea of read across the city.
In 2022 there was also an impressive turnout as the team paraded the FA and Carabao cups.
While Liverpool Council and the football club are yet to confirm any dates or times for this year's parade, the logical thinking would suggest that it will be held on Monday, May 26.
Liverpool's final league game of the season is against Crystal Palace at Anfield, kicking off at 4pm.
It would stand to reason that the club and the council would be keen to hold a parade the following day, meaning the players could head off on a deserved holiday the day after following a long and successful season.
The city council is expected to confirm the date and details of the parade very soon.
In terms of any parade route, these details are also yet to be confirmed, but it is likely to be similar to previous routes.
In 2019 and 2022 the same parade route was used, covering 13.5km of the city.

From there the players travelled along Queens Drive to Mill Bank, West Derby Road, Islington, Leeds Street and finished in triumphant scenes on The Strand, concluding the tour at Blundell Street.
Full details on any planned route are also expected to be confirmed soon.
