Arne Slot clinched the top-flight crown during his debut season at Anfield to level Manchester United's title haul.

It is Liverpool's first top-flight trophy won in front of their supporters since 1990, with their 2020 triumph coming behind-closed-doors.

COVID restrictions meant the Merseysiders were unable to showcase their Premier League success around the city.

However, Liverpool can now replicate the parades for the 2019 Champions League win and the 2021/22 domestic cup double.

The 2024/25 Premier League winners have confirmed their victory parade will be held on Monday, May 26.

That is the day after Liverpool are handed the title following their final match of the season, despite already guaranteeing first place.

Reds captain Virgil van Dijk will lift the trophy after his side face Crystal Palace at Anfield on Sunday, May 25.

With many of the club's players involved in international fixtures the week after, that Monday is the only suitable time for it to be held.

Liverpool have confirmed that the 15km victory route will be the same as the 2019 and 2022 parades.

The team bus will depart from Allerton Maze in the south of the city before travelling northbound on Queens Drive.

The parade will cross the Rocket flyover, before following Queens Drive, Mill Bank, and West Derby Road.

It will then progress towards Islington, Leeds Street, and the Strand.

The route will finish at Blundell Street.

The former Liverpool manager has already said that he plans to attend the parade as a fan, as he will be in the city that weekend.

Klopp is attending the LFC Foundation's annual gala dinner on the Friday, ahead of his return to Anfield two days later against Palace.

Speaking in March, Klopp, who was unable to celebrate his only Premier League in 2020, said: "Yes, the plan is [to be there for the celebrations] but not on the bus.

That's why I'm really desperate to win the Premier League with the club now.

"It's going to be unforgettable because I know how much it means to win the Premier League.

To experience that day and go on the parade in the city, it's going to be incredible."

The Leader of Liverpool City Council, Councillor Liam Robinson added: “We’re delighted to officially invite Liverpool Football Club to parade around the city on May 26.

A Liverpool victory parade is more than football – it’s a celebration of our city’s pride, passion and community spirit.

“A huge amount of work goes on behind the scenes in preparation for an event of this size and scale, and there has already been months of careful planning taking place as the Team Liverpool approach – which we saw work so well throughout Eurovision – comes to the fore again.

“It’s set to be an unforgettable Bank Holiday weekend as we give the team the celebration they deserve.”
