Liverpool will be taking on Leeds United and Burnley again next season after the pair secured the top two spots in the Championship, avoiding the play-offs and returning to the top flight.
And with those two clubs back in the Premier League, there are a few different benefits.
For one thing, both are considerably closer to Merseyside than Ipswich and Southampton.
Financially, though, the Premier League clubs are also set to feel a benefit of Leeds and Burnley returning.
"When Leicester & Southampton were relegated in 2022/23 and promoted the following season, £102 million ($137 million) in parachute payments were saved," football finance expert Kieran Maguire posted on X/Twitter.
"These savings have been split between Premier League clubs.
Should Burnley and Leeds be promoted today then a further £51 million ($68 million) will be saved...
this will also be divided between the Premier League clubs.
"Instead of receiving parachute payments of £35 million ($47 million) and £16 million ($21 million) next season, Burnley and Leeds will both be picking up £110 million ($147 million) plus in the Premier League.
Given Leeds and Burnley have both since been confirmed as coming up, Liverpool and the other Premier League clubs will get a share of the $68 million that has been saved
