Liverpool have an opportunity to pick up the one point they need to win the Premier League against Tottenham this afternoon (4.30pm), but former manager Jurgen Klopp is not expected to be at Anfield.
Instead, the much-adored German does expect to return to the city he called home for nine years at a later date for any proposed title celebrations.
It's now been almost one year since Klopp left Liverpool behind, leading Anfield in chanting his successor's name.
During his time, the 57-year-old's squad won the club's first English top-flight title in three decades and their sixth Champions League (or European Cup) overall, among all major honours available.
Such achievements would of course earn a manager legendary status - even if Klopp does not speak of himself as so.
Meanwhile, as Arne Slot has made such few alterations to the squad left to him in some fans' eyes the German has played a key role building the foundations for this season's title push.

But Klopp has so far refrained from visiting his former club in the season they have been apart - and that appears set to continue over the weekend they could be confirmed as 2024/25 champions.
It was as part of that role, in March, that he was asked about a return to Anfield, to which he declared he would not go back until the Premier League title race was wrapped up - it would seem out of superstition rather than anything else.
"Yes, the plan is [to be in Liverpool to celebrate the title] but not on the bus.
But as Klopp specifically made reference to the fans he saw from the bus, speaking of open-top bus parades with the Champions League in 2019 and the two domestic cups in 2022, it may be his intention to let the team take the spotlight at Anfield and then join thousands on the streets of Liverpool for a Premier League trophy parade.
Nothing yet has been confirmed by the club themselves regarding such an event.
