A number of Liverpool stars - including Virgil van Dijk and Ibrahima Konate - have celebrated the significance of Sunday afternoon's 2-1 victory over West Ham United in the Premier League.
However, the Hammers grew into the contest and scored an equaliser, when a costly mix-up between Van Dijk and Andy Robertson saw the latter score an own goal.

Van Dijk would make amends moments later, though, as his powerful header secured a crucial three points and continued Liverpool's push towards the Premier League title.
After the match, there was a celebratory mood on social media with the centre-back leading the way with a picture of himself celebrating the winner.

The consensus among the players was that it was just another victory on their way towards the end goal.

If Arsenal were to lose earlier in the day at relegation-threatened Ipswich Town, Liverpool would only need to beat Leicester City later that afternoon to wrap up the big one.
