Liverpool put their fans through another helter-skelter game on Wednesday as they faced Aston Villa in the Premier League.
The Reds knew a win over Villa would send a real statement out to Arsenal and put them 10 points clear at the top of the table.
Conversely, a poor result ahead of facing Man City on Sunday, and their lead could start to look precarious all of a sudden.
It was certainly a blockbuster at Villa Park, with the two teams trading goals in the opening hour of the game.
Mohamed Salah put Liverpool ahead, before goals from Youri Tielemans and then Ollie Watkins gave Villa the lead.
Trent Alexander-Arnold then equalised for the Reds before Darwin Nunez squandered a huge chance to score a third.
And having watched Nunez shoot over the bar with the goal gaping, Arne Slot was spotted in disbelief on the touchline.

Having gone in at half-time behind, Liverpool came out for the second period in good nick.
The pressure eventually told, with Alexander-Arnold’s deflected effort wrong-footing Emi Martinez and ending up in the net.

Although Villa carried a real threat, the Reds looked the more likely side as the game wore on.
And this looked all set to result in a third goal, when Dominik Szoboszlai latched onto a brilliant through ball from Conor Bradley to go one-on-one with Martinez.

Perhaps unwisely, Szoboszlai chose to square the ball to Nunez, who was rushing in alongside Axel Disasi.
The Uruguayan got there first, but leant back and pushed it over the bar.
“Arne Slot has his head in his hands,” journalist Nick Mashiter said on BBC Sport.
“Zero composure from Darwin Nunez.”
Slot was not the only one of a Liverpool persuasion with his head in his hands after Nunez’s miss.
The No.9 had the game and the three points right there in his hands.
There is no excuse to miss the target in the way he did.
There is a question mark over why Szoboszlai chose to pass rather than shoot, but Nunez should have scored regardless.
And after holding his head in his hands, the Liverpool head coach was seen asking the fourth official if his player may have actually been offside.
No such luck for Slot or for Nunez.
