Bournemouth were not interested in letting Scott go after his most impressive Premier League season to date over the last campaign.

The 23-year-old has earned a spot in Thomas Tuchel’s England squad and won his first two caps over the recent international break, looking very good as he did so. The former Bristol City player appears to be looking to move on after rejecting offers of a new contract at Bournemouth earlier this year.

The BBC report that there has been another round of talks between the Cherries hierarchy and Scott’s representatives and the club is now open to a January exit.
