Crewe Alexandra have completed the signing of Liverpool defender. Liverpool have been linked with Sporting CP striker Luis Suarez, who has scored 33 goals in 42 appearances this season.

Elsewhere, according to Talent Hunter, 16-year-old defender Zane Whelan has completed a move from Liverpool to Crewe Alexandra. Whelan, who spent six years at Liverpool, signed his scholarship with Crewe in November but will continue training with the Reds until the end of the season.
