KSI will be hoping the new manager can take the club to greater heights next season. Image Credits: Imago ImagesKSI has had a rather eventful foray into the world of football. From days playing FIFA in his bedroom to playing in football charity games, the London born social media star has intertwined his career with football quite extensively. His most recent venture in football was when he was announced as the CEO of a professional football club.Just two months ago in March 2026, it was announced that KSI had become a shareholder and strategic partner for Dagenham & Redbridge.Happy Fan Group had taken over the club in February 2026 and KSI’s involvement just a month later saw the football world talking about whether another Wrexham style story was on the horizon. The Daggers play in National League South presently and were more famous for having former Liverpool striker Andy Carroll signing to play for them this season.Shortly after KSI becoming a shareholder in Dagenham & Redbridge, Carroll was named interim manager of the club. But that entire experiment has now come to an end with a new man in the dugout at Chigwell Construction Stadium.Dagenham & Redbridge have officially announced that Lee Allinson is the new first team manager of the club.Allinson moves to the club from Hemel Hempstead Town – a club that finished the season 8 places higher than Dagenham & Redbridge. While KSI likely didn’t pull the trigger himself on the selection of the new manager, as a shareholder and strategic partner, he’s more than likely been involved in discussions that led to the event decision and hiring.“I am incredibly proud to be joining a club with the stature and history of Dagenham & Redbridge,” Allinson told the club’s official website.

“From my first conversations with the Leadership Group, I saw a shared ambition to move this club forward. “This is a massive opportunity, and I can’t wait to get to work.

I want to build a team that reflects the grit and passion of this community, a team that is hard to beat and exciting to watch”.KSI and the Happy Fan Group will be hoping that Lee Allinson is the man to take the club from non-league to the ranks of the English Football League.Andy Carroll will now be hoping to put his entire focus on his playing career and see whether he can score the goals to get the club promoted next season.Want to get the latest Liverpool news direct to your phone?
