Liverpool are said to be “interested” in completing the signing of Crystal Palace forward Ismaila Sarr, according to an interesting new transfer claim. According to journalist Nevzat Dindar, in quotes relayed by TEAMtalk, Palace winger Sarr is seen as an option, with Galatasaray also pushing hard to snap him up: “Ismaila Sarr can play in many areas of the attacking line, which is why [Galatasaray boss] Okan Buruk wants this transfer very much.
Galatasaray is extremely serious about the Ismaila Sarr transfer. It’s also reported that Liverpool is interested in the Senegalese footballer.” Ismaila Sarr has hurt Liverpool many times in the past Liverpool certainly know a lot about Sarr, who has scored an impressive seven goals against them in his career, including two for Watford back in the 2019/20 Premier League-winning season.
The £50m-rated Sarr could be a strong choice for Liverpool, having proven himself in English football for years now, being described as “fantastic” by former Palace manager Oliver Glasner back in 2024. Sarr is at his best on the right flank, however, so he may be viewed as an alternative to Minteh, as well as highly-rated PSG teenager Ibrahim Mbaye.
