Liverpool have blocked transfer talks with Inter Milan over Curtis Jones. Jones enters the final 12 months of his existing contract at Anfield and has been heavily linked with a move to the San Siro since the January window.

Andoni Iraola’s side value Jones closer to £40M than the figure proposed by Inter, who are prepared to pursue alternative targets over the Toxteth native. A trend of high offers for Premier League midfielders this summer is understood to be behind Liverpool’s current valuation of the 25-year-old.
