SportFootballLiverpool FCLiverpool have been eyeing a new winger all summer and are confident they will beat Arsenal to the signing of Bradley Barcola as they make enquires for Monaco's Maghnes AklioucheLiverpool have made an approach for Monaco star Maghnes Akliouche as they continue to scour the market for a new winger - but remain 'confident' they will land PSG superstar Bradley Barcola. The Reds have seen Mohamed Salah depart Anfield and need to replace the iconic Egyptian this summer. A number of players have been identified but, as of yet, they've been unable to get a deal over the line.Their approach for Akliouche comes after they checked on the Frenchman's availability, reports Sky Sports.

They've been eyeing Barcola for much of the summer and the winger could well leave Paris with Arsenal also keen. Liverpool have already missed out on Yan Diomande, who is set to join PSG from RB Leipzig once the German side seal a replacement.Diomande’s imminent arrival at the Parc des Princes means the Champions League winners can afford to offload Barcola, who impressed for France at the World Cup and scored 13 times last term - having scored 21 times the year prior to that.Liverpool, now embarking on a new era following the appointment of Andoni Iraola, have already signed Spanish winger Victor Munoz from Osasuna in a £34.5m deal.

They also added the likes of Milos Kerkez and Hugo Ekitike, but went from champions to fifth, narrowly qualifying for the Champions League.Join our new WhatsApp community and receive your daily dose of Mirror Football content. If you don't like our community, you can check out any time you like.
