Liverpool have confirmed the identity of Andoni Iraola’s backroom staff. Iraola reunites with four key allies from his time at Bournemouth in a rejigged setup with ex-fitness coach Pablo de la Torre now stepping up as assistant coach.

De la Torre has been a key constant throughout the new Reds head coach’s career, working with him at AEK Larnaca, Rayo Vallecano and latterly on the South Coast. Iraola’s former assistant Tommy Elphick also moves to Anfield as a first-team coach, alongside Shaun Cooper in a reunion of the Cherries’ technical ranks.

Tom Webber has also been appointed as first-team analyst, replacing Roderick van der Ham, who confirmed his Reds’ exit as the final member of Arne Slot’s staff. He spent a decade as Bournemouth performance analyst after a spell as Leicester City’s assistant technical scout in the season they won the Premier League title.
