Liverpool are set to return to the United States for their latest pre-season tour. The tour opens against the Black Cats at Nashville’s GEODIS Park on July 25 before facing the Championship side at New York’s Yankee Stadium on July 29.

Liverpool will see out their transatlantic leg at Chicago’s Soldier Field on August 2, when Leeds provide the opposiiton in the run-up to the new campaign’s start. Their pre-season tour comes hot on the heels of this summer’s World Cup, which will be hosted in the US, Canada and Mexico between June 11 and July 19.

Meanwhile Liverpool have seen two of their upcoming Premier League fixtures in April switched for broadcast purposes in Wednesday’s latest round of changes. Slot’s side will also be screened in a maiden trip to Everton’s Hill Dickinson Stadium as the 248th Merseyside derby will now take place at 2pm on Sunday, April 19.
