Woodman signed an initial two-year contract upon his arrival at Anfield last summer but has been rewarded for his contribution over the previous season. After extending his stay on Merseyside until summer 2029, Woodman admits that he is relishing the opportunity to be part of Andoni Iraola’s current plans.
He said: “I’m absolutely delighted, to be honest. “I’m just so happy that I could re-sign here and be a part of this amazing club.
Last season I came in and did the role I was doing. “Now I get the chance to stay here for longer and to be a part of it again is unbelievable, and me and my family are delighted.”
