Liverpool will reportedly consider allowing Cody Gakpo to leave the club if a “big offer” is submitted for him in the summer transfer window. Gakpo is showing what a potent attacking player he can be at the 2026 World Cup, however, bagging two goals and one assist in the opening couple of matches.



That said, it is stressed that the Reds are not “actively” looking to sell the Dutchman ahead of next season, with his performances at the World Cup showing that he can still be an effective squad player. Meanwhile, the report also states that Iraola is “keen to give Gakpo the chance to shine next term”, suggesting that he could be more likely to stay than leave.
