However, it now looks as though this summer will be his final transfer window in charge of Liverpool's recruitment, with him expected to follow Francis to Al-Hilal.Earlier this year, it was reported Hughes had been identified by the Saudi Pro League side as a target.According to The Athletic, the club is currently working under the assumption that Hughes will join Francis, his former teammate at Bournemouth, who is currently in charge of recruitment at Al-Hilal.Francis and Hughes also worked together as part of Bournemouth's technical team before Hughes departed for Merseyside back in 2024.
