The final member of Arne Slot’s Liverpool backroom staff has confirmed his exit. Roderick van der Ham served as an analyst in the Dutchman’s ranks during his two-year spell at Anfield, which ended just a week after the previous campaign ended.

Both the former assistant manager and fitness coach along with fellow deputy Giovanni van Bronckhorst all departed Merseyside shortly after Slot’s sacking. Van der Ham was widely anticipated to follow suit and revealed on LinkedIn that his contract has now come to an end as Andoni Iraola’s fledgling reign gets underway.

“June has come to an end, and so has my time at Liverpool Football Club,” he wrote. “Being part of the group that won the Premier League in 2024/25 was the highlight of it all, a wonderful memory I’ll carry with me.” Iraola is set to replace Van der Ham with Tom Webber, who will be one of several arrivals from his recent employers Bournemouth in Liverpool’s new-look setup.
