Liverpool could still potentially have Alisson available for this weekend’s Premier League clash with Crystal Palace, according to journalist James Pearce. Alisson has been arguably the greatest goalkeeper in Reds history since joining from Roma in 2017, but unfortunately, injuries have started to creep in more and more as the years have passed.

Alisson was still expected to be out for a while, but in a fresh twist, Pearce has taken to X to claim that he could return to training this week, putting him in line to feature against Palace: “Still a chance that Alisson resumes team training at Kirkby later this week ahead of Saturday’s clash with Palace. Liverpool’s No.1 has been targeting United away for his comeback.

Alisson shouldn’t be rushed back, though, with the 29-year-old Woodman an experienced figure who has shown that he can fill in when required.
