The defender has been a key figure for Wrexham in their push towards the Premier League this term, as he has already started 17 league games for Phil Parkinson’s men. That has seen the North Wales outfit outline him as a top priority for the end of the season, and it seems as though City will be receptive to their advancements.

The Red Dragons have now lost just one of their last seven league games, and have built up a four-point gap to Southampton, who are their nearest challengers for a place in the top six at the moment. Their strong run of form has been reflected by Opta, whose latest prediction of the final Championship table has Parkinson’s men retaining their current position, while finishing on 70 points.
