Paris Saint-Germain players were left frustrated on Wednesday despite comfortably beating Liverpool in the Champions League quarter-final.The Reds have it all to do in the second-leg after losing 2-0 against the European champions, but still came away with a sliver of hope that they can turn it around at Anfield. In reality, Liverpool should never have had that chance. Do you still think Liverpool can turn the quarter-final around at Anfield?

2-0 down vs PSG, it's going to be some ask from here… Photo by FRANCK FIFE / AFP via Getty Images Hakimi and Zaire-Emery think Liverpool are still in the tieOn paper, there is no real reason why Liverpool supporters should lose hope of a turnaround at Anfield. Anything can happen in the second-leg, and a two-goal deficit is not insurmountable.Nevertheless, having watched their team struggle all season, there won’t be many fans who are holding out much hope of a Champions League comeback.Having clearly watched Liverpool far less than their supporters this term, though, Zaire-Emery said that PSG players are ‘frustrated’ at having left the door open for a special Anfield night.“We’re satisfied with the win, but I’d say there’s a bit of frustration because we had clear chances we could have taken,” the midfielder said via RMC Sport.

We’ll go there with our intentions: to play high up the pitch, in their half, and apply our pressing game.”Somewhat echoing Zaire-Emery’s thoughts, Hakimi also suggested that PSG’s failure to take their chances has left Liverpool alive in the tie.“I think we had clear chances to score more goals,” said the Moroccan. “We left Liverpool in the game for the second leg, but we’re happy with the performance and hope to continue like this.”Though it shows a good mentality from the PSG players after what was a fairly routine win, they have far more faith in Liverpool than the Reds have shown they deserve this season.
