Jeremy Jacquet raised concerns of a fresh injury after being taken off with half an hour left to play during Liverpool’s 6-3 win over LASK on Wednesday. The French defender was excellent once again in the Champions League, starring in Virgil van Dijk’s left centre-back position alongside Ronald Araujo in Linz. However, with TNT Sports commentators spotting that Jacquet had been signalling to the bench just before being replaced by Van Dijk, there had been some worry that he may have suffered a recurrence of the issue he sustained during the last international break.

Thankfully, Andoni Iraola made no mention of a fitness problem after the game, instead confirming that he had taken both Jacquet and Araujo off with one eye on the busy fixture schedule. Here's our player ratings!
