Jeremie Frimpong has handed a fresh injury worry for Liverpool ahead of the Reds' return to action against Manchester City in the FA Cup on Saturday. The right-back came off the bench at half-time of the Netherlands' friendly against Ecuador on Tuesday, having replaced Liverpool teammate Cody Gakpo.
Frimpong has already had two injury lay-offs this season, having picked up a hamstring problem against Eintracht Frankfurt in the Champions League in October before suffering another muscle strain against Qarabag in January. It's not yet clear what the problem is for Frimpong, although he was seen making his way straight down the tunnel after being brought off by Netherlands boss Ronald Koeman.

If Frimpong is absent for any length of time, that is really going to disrupt things for Slot at such a busy time in the season.
