This was Kerkez's first international goal on the occasion of his 35th cap, and something of a rare occurrence, considering he's only netted nine times in 204 outings for his various clubs. Like Kerkez, Dominik Szoboszlai also completed the full 90 minutes for the Magyars.

From a Liverpool perspective, Jérémy Jacquet started at centre-back and completed the full 90 minutes. This was Morrison's first appearance of the window, with Michael O'Neill's team currently enjoying a dream start, picking up seven points out of nine, yet to concede a goal.
