Ifeanyi Ndukwe is set to leave Anfield for a temporary spell just weeks after his arrival from Austria Vienna despite impressing during the pre-season campaign. The defender featured regularly for Andoni Iraola’s side but is ineligible for a UK work permit, forcing him to spend a debut campaign away from the Reds’ ranks.
The 21-year-old last made a competitive appearance in May 2025, when he was on loan with Las Palmas after an initial spell with Red Bull Salzburg was curtailed. He became Liverpool’s third-youngest player to score in a Premier League game after netting late as a substitute in a 3-1 win at Aston Villa in December 2022.
But Bajcetic made just three appearances overall in the following year and is now in talks over a potential switch to Getafe after failing to feature at all in pre-season.
