Liverpool are attempting to capitalise on Chelsea’s failed move to sign Lamine Camara in the summer by arranging a January transfer for the Senegalese international. Liverpool hope to sign Lamine Camara in January According to a report from Italian outlet Tuttomercatoweb, Chelsea are likely to have changed tactics, with the Blues keen to sign Alex Scott from Bournemouth.

Liverpool could use a new midfielder but I don’t want it to impact Trey Nyoni Camara and Nyoni are different players altogether. Nyoni is a controller, and Camara is a ball-winner – they could be very good together.

However, signing Camara would likely see Nyoni receive fewer minutes, but, particularly after his Arsenal performance, the young Liverpool midfielder would be hard done by in this exchange. The Arsenal midfield is highly competitive, and I worried that Nyoni would struggle.
