Born to Georgina from France and his dad, Johnathan who is from Norway, Thelo Aasgaard started his route into professional football at Liverpool's academy in 2010.Thelo left the club after six years to join Wigan Athletic where he made a name for himself in their first team before signing for Luton Town and more recently Scottish giants Rangers where he has played since July last year.While he has continued his progress in the professional game in recent years, the midfielder's greatest achievement yet came while he was sitting on his couch at home in Mossley Hill. He said: "I just gave him a big hug, I just said 'I'm made up for you'.

He said: "I think he's had more than his fair share [of tough moments]. And I asked him 'are you sure this is what you want to do?' and he said 'yes dad, 100%'.He added: "He obviously went to Wigan for a few years, but during his scholarship [at Wigan] he was injured for about 18 months.
