Liverpool transfer target Yan Diomande has refused to play down talk of a summer exit from RB Leipzig, acting as a boost for the Reds. Now, speaking to reporters [via This Is Anfield], Diomande has admitted that he hasn’t yet decided what the future holds, but certainly hasn’t said he is staying at Leipzig beyond the summer: “I don’t think about this kind of thing because I’m trying to be focused on the pitch and because my job is playing football, so [his representatives] gonna take care of everything outside of the pitch,” he said of the transfer interest.
You just have to work and they’re gonna take care of everything, because the only thing I can control is playing football.” “The World Cup is next and after that you never know what can happen.” Would it be a surprise if Liverpool don’t sign Yan Diomande? We’ll [Germany] have to come up with something for the World Cup.” It would arguably be a surprise if Diomande wasn’t a Liverpool player come the start of next season, and while he may take time to get used to the Premier League, he has everything in his locker to become a superstar in the division.
