RB Leipzig have expressed an interest in signing Liverpool’s Rio Ngumoha as they negotiate a deal with the Reds for Yan Diomande.The latest reports have suggested that Liverpool are optimistic over signing Diomande, but have still yet to agree what is likely to be a huge fee.In the meantime, there have been claims that the Reds could offer Harvey Elliott to Leipzig in an attempt to lower the cost, but according to Sky Germany reporter Philipp Hinze, the Bundesliga side have already tried – and failed – to go after Ngumoha instead. You certainly cannot blame them for asking the question about Ngumoha.But if the Reds are to pluck Diomande, then it is clear that the plan will be for the two prodigious teenagers to play together. Others may well try before the transfer window closes, but, thankfully, it seems fairly certain that Ngumoha is going nowhere.
