(Credit: Imago, Getty) Mon 2 March 2026 13:12, UK Darren Moore would find it extremely difficult to turn down a possible return as West Brom manager, sources have told Football Insider.The 51-year-old has emerged as one of the leading candidates to step into the home dugout at The Hawthorns, and it is understood that he would jump at the chance to return if he got the call from the club. Moore has been out of work since he was sacked by League One side Port Vale at the end of December, and sources have indicated that he is being viewed as an option to provide experience alongside current caretaker boss James Morrison.The Baggies have got their eyes fixed on making an interim appointment to try and save their season, with their options limited in terms of a long-term candidate at this stage of the campaign.
